SMS Ultra-Compact Octave, Fast Switching Synthesizer to 26 GHz
The SMS single loop synthesizer offers octave frequency coverage (100 MHz to 26 GHz) in a rugged, compact housing measuring only 1.9” x 1.9” x 0.45”. Step size is 200 kHz, with switching speeds to 50 uSec. Harmonics and spurious are -15 dBc and -60 dBc respectively, with phase noise at 10 GHz is -100dbc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset (-100 dBc/Hz optional).
SMS-B Compact Multi-Octave, Fast Switching Synthesizer to 40 GHz
The SMS-B single loop, multichannel synthesizer offers multi-octave microwave source with the smallest possible footprint (2.96” x 3.05” x 0.74”).  It covers the full 1-20 GHz (1-40 GHz optional) frequency range. Standard units have a single SMA output (multi-ports optional).  Switching speed to 50uSec.  Harmonics and spurious are -15 dBc and -60 dBc respectively, with phase noise as low as -100dbc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset.
SMS-D Low Phase Noise, Multi-Octave, Fast Switching Synthesizer to 40 GHz
The SMS-D synthesizer is a miniature 'multi-loop' microwave source designed to offer the best phase noise (-100dBc/Hz@ 12 GHz) and switching speed (<50uS).  It covers the entire 1-20 GHz (1-40 GHz optional) frequency range. Harmonics and spurious are -20 dBc and -70 dBc respectively.  Size is 3.0” x 3.3” x .75”.  Many configurations can incorporate the same basic architecture, saving the customer NRE costs of a custom module.
The SMS-DA Ultra-Fast, Direct, Multi-Octave Synthesizer with DDS Capability to 40 GHz
The SMS-DA Direct Frequency Synthesizer offers sub 500 nS tuning speed, multi-octave bandwidth, and a small footprint (6.5” x 6.0” x 1.0”).  The SMS-DA generates a base-band signal with 200 MHz of bandwidth.   A Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) provides fine frequency resolution, and phase coherent operation.  Programming complexity is minimized by an internal FPGA, which performs all mathematical calculations required to set the DDS frequency, update phase, and switch bands.
SMS-VME Multiple LO Source for Microwave Tuners
The SMS-VME synthesizer was designed to act as a broadband microwave Local Oscillator source for use in Microwave Tuner applications.   It has a flexible two stage up-conversion synthesis plan allowing easy modifications to its output frequency to match the requirements of broadband microwave tuners.  Up to 3 independent fixed frequency LO's can be added to the same package, thus offering a complete LO solution for microwave radio.
SMS-D40 Ultra-Wide Bandwidth Synthesizer
The SYN-D40 Synthesizer was designed to provide the maximum tunable bandwidth in small module for military and instrumentation applications.  The total bandwidth is split between two RF outputs (50 kHz - 2 GHz, and 2 GHz to 40 GHz) to facilitate best RF performance.  An Integrated DDS module provides frequency coverage from 50 kHz to 250 MHz, and can be programmed by the user to perform various modulation functions.
SMSB-CX Broadband Fast Tuning Miniature Dual Synthesizers
The SMSB-CX was designed as a receiver LO and calibration source.  It contains two independent frequency synthesizers with optional -5 dB to -80 dB adjustable RF output attenuation.  Each synthesizer has four RF outputs to accommodate four quadrant receivers.  Both synthesizers cover the entire 2-18 GHz (0.15-20 GHz optional) spectrum.
SMS-CX  X-BAND Synthesizer
Spinnaker Microwave’s SMS-CX series synthesizers offer DRO equivalent phase noise performance with 500 MHz of fast tuning bandwidth at frequency outputs from 8-20 GHz. Design advantages include ultra fast locking speeds (< 25 µs), excellent spurious / harmonic rejection, and low power consumption.  The durable and compact SMS-CX synthesizer (measuring 3.25” x 3.25” x 0.70”) is the perfect, cost-effective solution for the most demanding military and commercial applications.
SMS-DU Direct Digital Up-Convert Synthesizer to 26 GHz
The SMS-DU Series Frequency Synthesizer combines a Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS), low noise integer synthesizer, and a multi-stage up-converter to yield DDS bandwidth for high speed communication or radar signal generation up to 26 GHz.  All DDS and internal LO frequencies are planned to produce the best possible spurious and bandwidth performance.  Programming complexity is minimized by an internal FPGA, which performs all mathematical calculations required to set the DDS frequency, switch bands, and program the integer loop synthesizers.
SYN-A Synthesizer & DTO
The SYN-A functions as both a Frequency Synthesizer and a Digitally Tuned Oscillator covering 2 to 18 GHz continuously on one output. The design utilizes a 'baseband - upconvert' topology. This gives the user the ability to frequency modulate with over 200 MHz frequency deviation anywhere in the 2-18 GHz spectrum when operating open loop and keeps the total 'N' count low to enhance frequency resolution and phase noise when operated as a synthesizer.
SMX-218-4X RF Generator
The SMX-0218-4X is a broadband RF generator used for driving and calibrating microwave radio equipment.  The outputs consist of 4 each 2-18GHz channels (LO Drive), 4 each 1.55-17.55GHz channels (CAL Output, offset from the 2-18GHz by 450 MHz), and 4 each 0.15-2GHz channels (Low-Band, CAL Output).  Both CAL signals also have 90 dB attenuation control in 10 dB steps.
